Baritone, Christopher Hart is an accomplished musician and performer. His unique experience spans opera, musical theater, composition and film. Talented in both opera and musical theater, Mr. Hart has performed in favorites such as Gianni Schicchi, Die Fledermaus, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Philemon and Man of LaMancha. He has performed as a featured soloist in Smokey Joe’s Café and has extensive experience in theater performances, such as The Mousetrap, Prelude to a Kiss, Rumors and Harvey. Mr. Hart has appeared with opera companies such as Sarasota Opera Opera Mississippi, Tulsa Opera, and Natchez Opera Festival.
As a soloist, Mr. Hart has appeared with Opera Mississippi in their series ‘Opera in the Air Concerts’, with Southwest Mississippi Community College’s performance of Carmina Burana, and Pike County Arts Council’s series ‘A Night to Remember Concerts’.
Being a highly regarded film composer, Christopher Hart has credits including Bastard’s Crossing, She Was the Deputy’s Wife, Counting Bullets, The New Frontier, Heart of the Gun, and Killin’ Jim Kelly. Christopher also arranges for stage bands, concert bands, and choirs. Mr. Hart delivered these 5 critically – acclaimed scores for the 12 Westerns in 12 Months project. His score for “Counting Bullets” earned Festival Director’s Choice for Best Score at the Cowpokes International Film Festival in 2021, and the soundtrack “Heart of the Gun” topped 40,000 streams on Amazon Music in a mere two months.
